Casa das Mimosas. A little further up the hill, +- 80 m from the river, stands this lovely cottage which affords a splendid view of Quinta do Rio Dão, the river and the old town of Santa Comba Dão.
The cottage contains two apartments:
Casa das Mimosas - the lower part, an apartment for 2 persons (sleeps 2 + 2 extra beds) and Casa das Mimosas - the upper part, a cottage for 4 persons (sleeps 4 + 2 extra beds).
Both have the entrance from its own private garden. The verandas and gardens of the two apartments are on different levels and at right angles, thus providing a good degree of privacy, witch can be seen on the picture.
If you rent both upper and lower part of Casa das Mimosas, it will be a cottage for 8 persons (sleeps 8 + 1 extra bed).
The guests of Casa das Mimosas, can make use of all the facilities of the quinta, like the free use of canoes, rowing boat and swimming pool, the possibility of renting mountain bikes, etc.
