In Casa Principal is the reception, and you will be welcomed by the owners, Pieter and Juliette Gruppelaar-Spierings who have their residence here, together with their 2 sons, Vírgilio (1990) and Melle (1992).
There is a large "sala" (living room), with a library (Portuguese, English and Dutch books). Here you can also find some information maps of the Quinta and the
surroundings.
All our guests can make use of the sala and the library.
When the weather is good you can enjoy a drink on the veranda of this house overlooking the river Dão.
There are also two large
double rooms for guests, each with their own veranda and nearby Casa Principal is the beautiful
swimming-pool.
