Casa Anexo
Casa Anexois a traditional granite built farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with walls almost 1 meter thick in the oldest part of the house. It is located at the waterfront, only 20 meters from the Dão river, in beautiful green surroundings.The covered patio and olive trees in the garden offer you a refuge from the summer sun, and are a splendid place to have your outdoor meals.
Every room in the house has a view of the river.

It is possible to rent the entire cottage, or just the upper or the lower part. The lower part has its own private entrance at the river side of the house. The upper part has its entrance, with a big patio, on the other side of the house. The verandas of the two apartments are on different levels, providing a good degree of privacy.

Quinta do Rio Dão is located just 30 minutes away from Viseu, a city well worth visiting. There is also a lot to do in the region between the Quinta and Viseu, such as the famous Dão vineyards, where you can get guided group tours, the Montebelo 36 hole golf course, the São Gemil spa, the Caramulo mountain range, an excellent place for hiking, Molelos, a village famous for it's black clay pottery, along with many other points of interest.
And, of course, there is the beautiful Dão river, with its shore only 20 meters from Casa Anexo.
