Quinta do Rio Dão

Casa Anexo is a rustic stone built farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and is situated at the waterfront. The oldest part has 90 cm thick granite walls. The cottage is surrounded by greenery and is situated at only 20 meters from the river, when the water level is at its highest.
The covered patio and olive trees in the garden offer you a shady refuge from the summer sun (splendid places to have your outdoor meals). The comfortable and spacious sitting/dinning room contains an old wood-burning stove.
Every room in the house has a view of the river.

You can rent this cottage as a whole or just a part:

Casa Anexo - a double room, breakfast included
Casa Anexo - the lower part, apartment for 2 persons (sleeps 2 + 2 extra beds )
Casa Anexo - the upper part, cottage for 4 persons (sleeps 4 + 2 extra beds )
Casa Anexo - upper + lower, cottage for 8 persons (sleeps 8 + 1 extra bed )

The lower part has it's own entrance at the river side of the house. The upper part has it's entrance at the other side. The verandas of the two apartments are on different levels, providing a good degree of privacy.

The guests of Casa Anexo, can make use of all the facilities of Quinta do Rio Dão, like the free use of canoes, rowing boat and swimming pool, the possibility of renting mountain bikes, etc.
