The Denomination of Origin “Dão”
The Dão region is worth exploring. The Denomination of Origin “Dão” is one of the most prestigious in Portugal.
The climatic conditions, the soil, and in connection with these, the use of certain types of grape (especially the “Touriga Nacional”, typical of this region) give the Daõ wines their own, rich and “dark” character.
They age with nobility, gaining a smooth and velvety bouquet.
